APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

A resume is required to apply for all positions. Unless requested in the job posting, a cover letter is optional.

Potential employees must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

We only accept resume submissions online and are unable to accept resumes at any of our facilities.

STEP 1

Our Talent Acquisition (HR) team reviews resumes and applications. If there is a match, your resume will be sent to the hiring manager for review. If there is an interest from a hiring manager, you will likely be contacted for a phone screen. If you've been invited to complete an OnDemand video interview, click here to learn more.

STEP 2

Depending on the phone screen or OnDemand interview feedback, you may be invited to an on-site interview. The on-site interview can last anywhere from a few hours to an entire day. Depending on the position and interviewer availability, you may also be invited to participate in a second interview day.

If you haven't heard from us within four weeks, please check your status on Edison Careers and check our career site for other job opportunities or consider joining our Talent Network to stay informed about new jobs.

Interview Tips

We recommend that applicants do the following prior to a phone or onsite interview:

  • Review information on our website or Inside Edison to become more familiar with our business.
  • Be prepared to discuss and provide examples of your background and qualifications as referenced on your resume.
  • Dress appropriately and be prepared to supply additional copies of your updated resume.
  • Be on time.
  • Bring interview information (contact name and interview location) that will be sent to you prior to the interview.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

Offers of employment from SCE are contingent upon candidates passing a background check and drug screen. Depending on the position, a background check may consist of the following: Criminal history report, Social Security Verification, Motor Vehicle history report, Employment Verification, Education Verification, and Social Media Screening.
